Flat Creek PFA

Located in Houston County, Flat Creek Public Fishing Area features 102-acre Lonice C. Barrett lake (named after a former DNR Commissioner), a handicap accessible fishing pier, and ample bank access and multiple spots for anglers to cast their lines. Anglers can catch Bluegill, Redear Sunfish, Crappie, Channel Catfish, Hybrid Striped Bass, and Largemouth Bass. Natural timber and man-made structures can be found throughout the lake. The 850-acre area offers plenty of opportunities for bird and wildlife viewing

This PFA also offers hunting opportunities for deer, turkey, small game and waterfowl. Please check the Hunting Regulations for more information.
