Join us for a summer full of exciting experiences! CEWC will be offering day and overnight camps June - July for ages 6-16. Throughout each week, campers will have unique opportunities to engage in activities that connect them to the outdoors.Girls at Camp


Day Camp Sessions

 

Wildlife Rangers Camp

Ages 8-10 | Cost: $150
Monday, June 9th - Friday, June 13th
9am- 4pm Monday-Thursday; 9am- 3pm Friday

Wildlife Rangers will be immersed in the outdoors while gaining valuable nature knowledge and skills. Campers will learn outdoor pursuits such as shelter building, cooking over a fire, wildlife identification, fishing, and canoeing. Utilizing the skills they’ve gained, campers will become stewards of the environment, just like Mr. Charlie Elliott.

 

Charlie’s Trackers Camp

Ages: 6-8 | Cost: $150
Monday, June 16th – Friday, June 20th
9am- 4pm Monday-Thursday; 9am- 3pm Friday

Inspiring a love of nature and the outdoors, Charlie’s Trackers camp opens the door to a lifetime of adventure and fun through exploration and hands-on activities. Live animal encounters, games, and crafts are planned. During this camp, campers will work towards becoming a Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center Junior Ranger, a program started in Georgia by Mr. Elliott.


Overnight Camp

 

Gone Fishin’ Camp

Ages: 11-13 | Cost: $325
Monday, June 2nd – Friday, June 6th
11 am Monday drop off, 11am Friday pick up

While the parents are away, the kids will fish and play all day! This camp is perfect for young anglers eager to enhance their fishing skills, from understanding fishing regulations, to knot tying, casting, and retrieving various fish species. Campers will also dive into fish habitats, biology, and conservation through exciting activities with special guests and field trips. The week will conclude with an unforgettable fishing tournament, all while capturing the magic of summer camp fun along the way!

 

Wilderness Survival Camp

Ages: 12-16 | Cost: $325
Monday, June 23rd – Friday, June 27th
11 am Monday drop off, 11am Friday pick up

Is your child ready to explore the great outdoors and learn skills that could last a lifetime? At Wilderness Survival camp, kids will gain practical outdoor survival skills all while having fun and building their confidence. We will explore topics like primitive fire building, wilderness first aid, shelter construction, canoeing, fishing, and more. On our final night we will wrap up with a survival night out, where campers will put their skills to the ultimate test and discover who can not only survive but thrive in the forest!

 

Outdoor Team Challenge Camp

Ages: 11-13 | Cost: $300
Monday, June 30th – Thursday, July 3rd
11 am Monday drop off, 7pm Thursday pick up

Ready, set, adventure! Campers will build friendships through exciting team challenges and high-energy activities like canoeing, archery, fishing, and more. Throughout the week, they’ll develop new skills, work together, and put their wildlife knowledge to the test. The experience wraps up with a thrilling competition where they showcase everything they’ve learned. At this camp, teamwork truly makes the dream work!

 

Shooting Sports Camp

Ages: 12-16 | Cost: $350
Monday, July 7th – Friday, July 11th
11 am Monday drop off, 11am Friday pick up

Shooting sports can be a whole lot of fun, but with that comes a great deal of responsibility. Shooting Sports Camp will get your youngster started on the path to becoming a safe, responsible shooter. Campers will learn the basic rules of gun safety and proper handling of rifles, shotguns, and archery equipment. Safety will be emphasized as campers learn the fundamentals of shooting while participating in various shooting activities. They will also learn how to safely clean, maintain, and store firearms. An opportunity to demonstrate their new skills will round out the week.

 

Adventures in Conservation Education (ACE) Camp

Ages: Rising 7th- 9th graders | Cost: $175
Monday July 14th – Friday, July 18th
10:30 am Monday drop off, 5:00 pm Friday pick up

ACE is a unique camp for middle school students focusing on wildlife conservation. Participants will spend five days immersed in Georgia wildlife via hands-on activities and day trips in the lower coastal plain including trips to Jekyll Island, Sapelo Island, and Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. Thanks to a grant from The Environmental Resources Network, the cost of this camp is only $175 per person.
